The RAC: Protect Our Children for Life Corporate Sponsorship Program was designed to prevent our children from having access to firearms. This partnership allows churches, politicians, schools, business leaders, law enforcement, concerned citizens, and non-profit organizations to team up in a joint effort to save our children.

Funding comes from Government agencies, Corporations, business leaders, and concerned citizens. They purchase the RAC by the case(10 units per case) or pallets (750 units per pallet) of RACs. Then they donate these RACs to area churches and non-profit organizations. At this point the partnership is coming together. Now enter law enforcement. Law Enforcement along with area churches and non-profit organizations will distribute this gift the (RAC) to people who have firearms and kids in their home.

The schools will assist in educating our community on the importance of kids avoiding all contact with guns. We count on each participant to carry the message that, "When a firearm is not in use it should be safely secured by our product. Law enforcement help by showing the parents or recipients how to use the RAC and explain the local firearm laws in their State. Politicians help to make the RAC a public good (like smoke detectors) prevention tool to protect our most precious resource our children.

The purpose of the program is to protect our children. The current gun security devices, i.e. trigger locks and cable locks, have not had a major impact in protecting our children from finding and using guns. Everyday somewhere in the United States; A child has access to guns. The goal of the program is to place a RAC in every household where there is a weapon and a child. The use of the RAC will reduce these statistics dramatically.

Free Security RAC’s to be distributed to Southeast Michigan families courtesy of DTE Energy Foundation, Motor city Casino and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated

            DETROIT – In an effort to keep Michigan children safer, 1,500 American storage RAC’s will be provided free of charge to families Friday, December. 21 from 11a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Historic Little Rock Baptist Church at 9000 Woodward Ave.  This community fair will provide valuable tools and an early Christmas presents to our area citizens.

            “Too many Detroit children have been killed or seriously injured by playing with unlocked firearms they’ve found in their own homes,” said [Counsel of Baptist Pastors of Detroit and Vicinity]. “Keeping guns locked is a critically important step in preventing such tragedies. Security storage RAC locks tools, equipment, bicycles, lawnmowers and firearms. American RAC prevents firearm theft therefore protecting our children.
